Teach relaxation techniques.

Education re: posture in sitting, standing and walking positions.

Using good body mechanics when getting in and out of a chair, lifting or carrying,

Importance of regular exercises and walking; if not possible, stationary bicycle or treadmill (in the winter).

Pain management, benefits in using ice, etc.

Use of walker or cane.
