Physiotherapy
At Ottawa & District Physiotherapy Clinic, we believe that Physiotherapy serves two purposes: to manage and improve current physical conditions, and to prevent future ones from occurring due to illness, injuries, or inactivity.
Our Physiotherapists are registered health care professionals that have expert knowledge about how the body works, and are trained in the assessment and management of a broad range of conditions affecting the musculoskeletal, respiratory, circulatory, and nervous systems. We can help you improve and maintain physical function and relieve your pain with modalities ranging from Ultrasound, Interferential, and acupuncture to hands-on manual therapy and exercise.
Exercise
Discover all of the ways that daily exercise can improve your quality of life, help you feel younger, improve cardiovascular endurance, reduce stress, prevent disease, and lose weight.
Our mission with Physiotherapy and exercise is to help you feel better instantly with individually customized stretching and strengthening programs and activities.
Rehabilitation
Patients are often being discharged prematurely from hospitals following a major surgery or injury due to a shortage of beds. We think it is vitally important that people have the necessary time to heal and recover properly. Therefore, our goal with rehabilitation is to help people improve and maintain range of motion, and increase strength and endurance.
Our Physiotherapists are trained to develop individual programs (on-site or through our partnerships with community organizations) tailored to an individual’s needs to return to full activities of daily living and functional, pain-free mobility.
